Farm Intro



Location: The Crabby Chicken Ranch is located on five beautiful acres in scenic Rochester, Washington. South of Olympia, the farm has lovely regional views, is mere minutes away from I-5 and is within an hour of many local AMHA and AMHR sanctioned shows.


Breeding: A small scale breeding operation, the Crabby Chicken Ranch typically breeds a few mares every two years. The ranch hopes for one to three foals in 2009, with the earliest due in February. Bloodlines in the breeding program include, but are not limited to: Alliance Topsiders Tribute, Boones Little Buckeroo, Celebrations Tennessee Talent, Cross Country Call Me Sir, Grosshill Dandys Special Edition, Little Kings Locomotion, Orion Light Van Huttenest, Rhotens Little Dandy, Rowdy, Shadow Oaks Top Banana, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan, Sierra Dawn Unos Pharaoh, To Sir with Loves Boomer, Winner Circle Adonis and Wittmaacks Mickey Mouse.


Showing: Competing in locally sanctioned breed shows, the horses at the Crabby Chicken Ranch have shown exceptionally well since 1997 and possess a tremendous wealth of talent. With top placings in everything from halter to performance in the open, youth and amateur divisions, Kim and Hilary Schult perform most of the exhibiting. Matthew Schult also participates in performance classes with aAprina in Pharaohs Freeanda. The home and breeding place of champions, the ranch is excited for their first foal in four years by February 2009 and another successful show season.
